I have always been quiet, and used to dream about being accepted that way and still seen as strong and powerful when I need to be. As an artist, I’ve made it one of my strengths—communicating immense power and energy in soothing illustrations.

Khari is my original character design. Her name is Swahili for “Kingly.” Her companion is meant to remind you of the meaning of the tiger spirit, which is personal strength, independence (they are non-social animals), as well as physical strength and good health.
